What Keeps You Awake at Night?

Quiet Questions:

Years ago, life took me down a path I never expected.

The silver lining is that it taught me asking questions isn’t intrusive, nor does it make me look less intelligent.

Since then, I’ve become deeply interested in learning how—not only for myself, but for everyone—to create the choices we hope to have later in life.

That’s why I continue learning… and sharing what I’m learning.

Close your eyes for a moment.

Where do you hope to be ten… twenty… thirty years from now?

What does an ordinary Tuesday look like when you’re 85?

If you’re fortunate enough to live to 95—or even 100—where would you want to call home?

What kind of life would make you feel grateful each morning?

Sometimes the questions aren’t about us.

They’re about the people we care about most.

What have your parents’ or grandparents’ journeys made you reflect on?

Is there anything you hope will be different for yourself or your own family?

Many of us are now fortunate to be living longer lives than previous generations.

With that gift comes something new to consider—the possibility of planning for decades still ahead.

Not out of fear.

Out of love.

For ourselves.

For the people we care about.

For the freedom to make the choices we hope will become reality.

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for our future selves is ask today’s quiet questions before life asks them for us.

A plan doesn’t remove uncertainty. It simply gives us more freedom to meet whatever tomorrow brings.

And sometimes, the greatest gift we can leave our families is the comfort of knowing we planned ahead.
